Warm up party Thursday 10 March, At The Vanishing Point, 565 King St Newtown

 

Over 150 artists in 40 studios, galleries and artist run initiatives (ARIs) across Marrickville will throw open their doors to the public for this one day showcase of artists’ work.  Bike tours and walking tours will be led by local artists and activists on the day. Join in on the MOST warm up party to talk all things art and plan your route for MOST.

Other Academies-a new Website About Supported Studios including Roomies

§  Other Academies is an online research project and resource that surveys and collates information on specialised creative arts studios.

In particular it is focused on how these studios function and how they interact with the broader contemporary art industry.

AART.BOXX exhibition for artists with disability escalates to next level

AART.BOXX is an exhibition of works by emerging artists and creative thinkers with disability. In 2009, AART.BOXX has expanded to include works by artists of all ages from around the country. 24 artists have been chosen from over 85 applications to feature in the exhibition in the Mori Gallery.
